Nicole M. Vazquez, MBA, IBCLC
Owner of Hub City Lactation
Hi! I’m Nicole, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), trained childbirth educator, wife, and mom of three wonderful daughters. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I speak both English and Spanish, and I’ve walked the path of pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding three times myself, including the challenges of infertility and nursing my own babies. Because I’ve been there, I understand how overwhelming and joyful this journey can be, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Since 2017, I’ve helped hundreds of families in the Upstate with feeding their little ones. I provide support in all aspects of infant feeding, including breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, and introducing solids. I’m trained in tethered oral tissues (TOTS), oral motor dysfunction and habilitation, and complex breastfeeding challenges, and I collaborate with trusted local experts to ensure your baby gets the best care. My goal is simple: to help you feel confident, supported, and truly heard as you navigate feeding your little one.

Jada Spencer, BSN, RN, CCLS
Intern
Hi! I’m Jada, a Registered Nurse and IBCLC Intern at Hub City Lactation. I live in Gaffney, South Carolina, with my husband, my high school sweetheart, and our two wonderful children.
From 2017 to 2025, I worked as a nurse in both the emergency department and the cardiac cath lab, two settings that taught me how to combine quick thinking with deep compassion. Becoming a mother changed everything for me. My own breastfeeding journey opened my heart to the joys, challenges, and emotions that come with feeding a baby, and it inspired me to pursue lactation as my next calling.
Faith and family are at the center of my life. I’ve played piano since I was four years old and continue to share that gift through my church’s worship team. Whether it’s through music or medicine, I believe in showing up with kindness, listening with intention, and supporting others through every season of life.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse
