Will Hub City Lactation file out-of-network claims? If your insurance company does not cover the cost of your visit, you may still be eligible for lactation benefits through out-of-network coverage. Many families are able to receive partial, and sometimes full, reimbursement by submitting a superbill to their insurance. We can guide you through the process, including tips for requesting pre-authorization to maximize your chances of coverage.

When do I pay my invoice? Unless visits are covered through The Lactation Network or Wildflower, payment for the consult is expected 24 hours prior to the appointment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to.

Which payment methods are accepted? Hub City Lactation accepts all major debit/credit cards including HSA/FSA program cards. We are also partnered with PayPal to provide clients with various payment options to support growing families. Some options offered (subject to credit approval) include 'Pay in 4 interest-free payments', Pay Later and PayPal Credit. If you want to explore these options, send me an email to nicole@hubcitylactation.com to get started.

How do I submit Superbill to my health insurance provider for reimbursement? The degree of coverage and process to submit your Superbill will widely varies by insurance provider. Some insurances require pre-authorization. Please contact your insurance provider prior to your consult to inquire about their requirements for reimbursement. Hub City Lactation encourages you to submit all charges for processing even if you do not expect the services to be covered.
